Off The Grid

Some of you know of my site inspection to Cuba. I am working on a partnership with an appropriate humanitarian organization allowing my clients a visit – now that I am an expert on the area!

I met with several well known artists, one whose work hangs in the Contemporary Art Museum, dined at the best private restaurants, took a class in Master Mojito Making, and enjoyed the dancing girls and guys at the Ricky Ricardo style ‘Tropicana’ Nightclub! Details soon, in the meantime a few intriguing photos.

Beach Therapy – All You Need Is Sunblock!

Really – all you need is sunscreen! An escape, a brief break to recharge your batteries…ok,  if you need to be connected there is wifi at the pool. This is my favorite location for a quick get away…Montecito Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel.

The gardens are divine, rooms and suites are a picturesque slice of Marbella, stay in and have dinner at the Coral Casino beach-side or amble to Montecito village for fine dining. If fog rolls in, curl up in your room in front of the fireplace.

Private cabana’s, the edge of the pool drops into the ocean, comfy chaise with perky sun bonnets, a mini Hotel du Cap. Late afternoon the regulars arrive – men gliding effortlessly through the blue pool- laps, laps, laps, barely breaking the water with their strokes, the only sound is the gentle swishing as it slaps the tile coping.

Sixty minutes by air…sunscreen and sandals!
