Diamond Service – Four Seasons Jackson Hole

A few days spent in exquisite Jackson, Wyoming. There are many stories to share, including stunning scenery: bluebird skies, billowing clouds close enough to fluff and an exceptional guest services manager at Four Seasons Jackson Hole.

Late afternoon after a delightful Snake River float, we arrived back at the Four Seasons Resort; a tangle of camera straps, binoculars, and rafting bags and headed to the Handle Bar, a Michael Mina pub. I realized within a minute that I was missing a diamond earring and assumed it would never be seen again. We enjoyed cocktails and a plate of spicy nachos, relishing the afternoon sunshine, sharing the rafting adventure, in the shadow of the stunning Tetons.

In a desperate afterthought, I later quizzed the cowboy-hatted bellmen to see if anyone had turned in an earring. They immediately began a ground search and found the backing and the stud, but alas, no diamonds. I assumed it must have punctured a car tire and was rolling around Jackson. Aaron Heindel, guest services assistant manager, part of the search team, called later to report that he searched the garage floors with no luck. Wow, garage floors? What dedication!

I moved hotels and gave it no more thought, no dwelling on unchangeable events. Last night Aaron rang my cell, in the proverbial dog with a bone idiom, he had continued the search throughout the lobby area and found my earring, a little bent, but all stones intact!

Exceptional service is a hallmark of Four Seasons properties and Aaron’s diligence exemplifies what I consider one of the most important attributes of a five star hotel, dedication to their guests.

Sunny skies indeed. Thank you so much Aaron Heindel!
